Margarita Slavina is an of counsel at BLK Partners.
Margarita has represented global conglomerates, manufacturers, infrastructure and property funds, and developers in transactions ranging typically from $50 million to $300 million. She’s key counsel in all stages of commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, on construction, engineering and consulting matters, corporate investment and divestment.
She has also supported global business teams—based around the world—on company compliance and governance matters and complex commercial contracts.
Margarita’s broad experience includes advising on corporate and non-corporate M&As and joint ventures in various industries and structured through different jurisdictions, project delivery structures including various forms of PPP, risk allocation and assessment, and reviewing bankability of project agreements.
Margarita has a Qualified Lawyer Transfer Scheme certificate from the UK, a master’s in Law from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) with the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and a research grant at the Asser Institute in the Netherlands. She is fluent in English and Russian.
