
Aya is a Trainee Associate at BLK Partners, based in Beirut.
Aya specializes in dispute resolution with a focus on arbitration, handling high-profile construction and commercial cases under leading arbitral institutions across the MENA region. Her experience includes contract review and drafting, as well as legal advisory in sectors such as commercial, banking, real estate, labor, and corporate law.
Moreover, Aya represents contractors and subcontractors in multimillion-dollar construction arbitrations, addressing complex legal and technical issues under Egyptian and UAE law and the Sharia. She assists arbitrators in managing cases under the ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, and LAMC, and advises on the enforcement and annulment of arbitral awards, including those against foreign states in the UAE. She also advises clients on employment, pharmaceutical, commercial, real estate, and insolvency matters, and drafts and reviews contracts under Saudi Arabian, UAE, and Lebanese law.
Aya holds an LL.B. from Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, a Master 1 in Lebanese and French Business Law from Saint-Joseph University, and a Master 2 in International Private Law and International Trade Law from Paris II University – Assas. She is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
